Demolished existing structures and constructed new bridges, roadways. Scopes included: demolishing existing bridges; excavating approximately 167,000 CY of soils; placing around 300,000 CY of embankment; installing 70,000 SF of bridge and ground mounted noise walls; building over 9,000 LF of retaining walls at an average height of eighteen feet (18’); four (4) surcharge areas with geotechnical monitoring including settlement platforms, open standpipe piezometers, vibrating wire piezometers and inclinometers; installing three new bridges; placing over 8,000 CY of high performance concrete; and installing ten overhead sign structures.
