The project involves a 1-mile-long 1&9T bypass roadway, a new simple span bridge supported by ninety-foot pile abutments over water, and over 8,100 LF of concrete block retaining walls.

In addition, we designed and installed over 250,000 SF of ground improvements, including a column supported embankment system comprised of a load transfer platform, 3,500 individual columns, and 35,000 LF of vertical wick drains installed under 11,000 CY of surcharge.

Installation of over 25,500 LF of underground utilities (storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, electric, and communications), including relocating 3,000 LF of existing 30-inch sanitary force main. Due to the project’s location, we need to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including NJDOT, USPS, Conrail, Jersey City MUA, North Bergen MUA, NJDEP, and various utilities.
